Graduate Excellence Awards

The Graduate Excellence Awards recognize current graduate students, graduate faculty, and Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) alumni for exceptional academic and professional achievements.
2025-2026 Graduate Excellence Award Nominations - NOW OPEN!
The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, Jan. 30, 2026.
Award Categories:
- Outstanding Master's Student Award
- Outstanding Doctoral/MFA Student Award
- Outstanding Master's Mentor Award
- Outstanding Doctoral/MFA Mentor Award
- Alumni Achievement Award
Eligibility:
- Faculty, staff, and students may submit nominations; self-nominations are not permitted.
- Student nominees must be in good academic standing (minimum 3.75 GPA), demonstrate exceptional progress toward their degree, and have completed at least 50% of their graduate coursework at TAMU-CC.
- Alumni Achievement Award nominees must hold a TAMU-CC Master’s or Doctoral degree.

Once the nominee has been verified as eligible by the Office of Student Research and Innovation, they will be invited to complete an application for consideration due by Friday, Feb. 27, 2026.
Award recipients will be honored at a luncheon on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Attendance is limited to invited guests.
