The annual Symposium for Student Innovation, Research, and Creative Activities is an engaging opportunity for all students at TAMU-CC to demonstrate what they have accomplished while pursuing their scholarly activities.

Key Dates for Presenters

Students are allowed to print one poster free of charge. SSIRCA provides two options for poster printing:

  1. I-Create Lab Poster Printing Service
    • Appointment Due Date: April 7, 2025 (note: posters do not need to be printed by this deadline, just the appointment scheduled)
    • Submit Here: I-Create Lab
    • Payment: Indicate SSIRCA
    • Poster Pick-Up: Posters can be picked up the day of printing by the student at the I-Create Lab.

  2. University Print Services
    • Submission Deadline: April 14, 2025
    • Submit Here: University Print Services
    • Payment: Indicate SSIRCA
    • Poster Pick-Up: Posters will be available for pick-up at the Sanddollar$ Office. Printing Services will email students with pick-up details.

What is SSIRCA?

The 2025 Symposium for Student Innovation, Research, and Creative Activities (SSIRCA) is sponsored by the Office of Student Research and Innovation in the Division of Research and Innovation at TAMU-CC. The symposium reflects a campus-wide collaboration with the College of Business, College Education and Human Development, College of Engineering and Computer Science, College of Liberal Arts, College of Nursing and Health Sciences, College of Science, the School of Arts, Media and Communication, and the Mary and Jeff Bell Library. SSIRCA is also supported by the Honors Program, the McNair Scholars Program, and Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Program.

Students from all colleges and disciplines at TAMU-CC are invited to present their innovation, research, or creative activities at this event. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate by helping evaluate presentations.
