Outdoor Adventures Trip Registration and Cancellation Information
Registration Information
For trips of three days or less in length, full payment is due at registration to reserve a space. For trips of four or more days, a deposit of at least $100 is due in order to reserve a space. The remaining balance is due prior to the pre-trip meeting. Some extended trips with more elaborate travel or equipment may require a larger deposit and earlier final payment deadline. Please check the trip flyer or website for payment information. Alcohol and drugs are not allowed on any outdoor trip.
Cancellation Information
Participants who cancel more than two weeks prior to the registration deadline will receive a full refund of the registration fee. In an effort to recuperate administrative costs, participants who cancel less than two weeks prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of 75% of the trip registration fee. Participants who cancel less than one week prior to the registration deadline will receive a refund of 50% of the trip registration fee. Any cancellation within 24 hours of the registration deadline will not be eligible for a refund. Some extended trips will have an earlier posted registration deadline for confirmation requirements with vendors. Special considerations regarding refunds may be made in the case of personal or medical emergencies at the discretion of the Outdoor Coordinator. If Outdoor Adventures cancels a trip, a full refund will be issued.
Medical Cancellation
In the event of a medical emergency, a participant may request a refund from Outdoor Adventures by providing a written statement from a doctor stating the participant’s inability to participate on the trip.
Transfer Information
A transfer from one trip to another may be allowed with approval of the Outdoor Coordinator. Registration fee adjustments related to any transfers will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. A participant may only transfer once to another trip.
Mandatory Meetings
Trip participants must attend the pre-trip meetings. Failure to attend the pre-trip meeting will be considered a cancellation.
