National Society of Leadership and Success at TAMU-CC
Who are we?
The National Society of Leadership and Success at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) is a community committed to empowering leaders and making an impact. Our chapter has been honored as Chapter of the Year in 2016 and 2024, a testament to our dedication and exceptional contributions to fostering leadership excellence.
As a hub of engagement, we provide numerous opportunities for students to connect, grow, and lead. Whether through service projects that uplift our local community or hosting campus-wide traditions, the NSLS inspires members to make their Islander Impact felt on and off campus. By joining, you become part of a legacy of leadership that transforms individuals and communities alike.
What do we do?
- Leadership Development: From the start to the end of the Induction process, our members are guided in cultivating skills that drive success. Advanced and Executive Certifications offer opportunities for deeper growth.
- Service to Community: We lead impactful initiatives like the Toys for Tots campaign during Islander Lights, raising $1,100 and collecting 375 toys for local children in 2024. Other service events include Beach Cleans, the American Heart Association Heart Walk, and partnering with organizations like the Ronald McDonald House of South Texas.
- Campus Engagement: We participate in events like Homecoming competitions, lip sync battles, and more. We also support service days like the Little Event and BIG Event.
- Social and Networking Opportunities: From Vision Board nights to Halloween costume parties, our socials foster camaraderie and community. Each event strengthens bonds and showcases the different interests of our members.
