Pregnancy and Parenting Support

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi is committed to providing an environment free of discrimination, including discrimination against a student on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, false pregnancy, termination of pregnancy or recovery there from. Moreover, the university is committed to assisting all students to continue their education and maintain their academic progress.

Students requesting excused absences and other academic accommodations due to pregnancy, childbirth, recovery, or lactation should inform their instructor and submit a Student Request for Pregnancy Accommodations to the Employee Development & Compliance Services (EDCS) department, which serves as the university's Title IX office.
